Our white Eco Wish Lantern are as beautiful as they are graceful. They're designed to make no impact on the environment, featuring no wires and a flame resistant string. The string is capable of perfectly accommodating a burning fuel cell and does so with ease. Very nice quality. Easy to launch. Loved the idea of them being biodegradable-which is why I chose these. They last for a shorter period of time then one with a giant flame in them; but that is great by me-less chance of setting something on fire. These were perfect!

Great lanterns! Before releasing them, let them fill all the way up. We had a few excited kids who let them go to early and almost landed in the ocean. When fully expanded they are very large and are beautiful to see float away. The company does a great job with the sales and shipping process. They were shipped almost immediately after ordering on a Friday. We sent them to a vacation home and I could track them every step of they way. Definitely 5 stars, especially for the price.

Birando's Wish Lanterns have brought joy and comfort to our family. I first purchased them when I wanted to memorialize a friend in my own unique way. They are meditation on waiting and faith. Wish lanterns have been launched at every special occasion in my life. I like the new packaging and it seems it makes them easier and faster to launch. The Birando brand are the best quality lanterns. It would be great if Birando could offer more of a variety, like lanterns with sparklers, additional colors, additional holiday themes, and personalized lanterns.

Absolutely LOVED them!
I was skeptical about ordering the wishing lanterns online, as I had never ordered them before. After reading many of the reviews, I decided to take a chance and order them for our wedding. Needless to say, I was more than impressed when they quickly arrived and were very neatly packaged. The instructions were easy to understand. We lit them as the culminating event for our wedding in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and guests are still talking about how special the moment was. They looked beautiful as we released them over the ocean, as they traveled very high and far. We were also happy as the lanterns are biodegradable. It was such a special moment and added a great element to our wedding. It's also important to mention that I called each airline before I ordered to ensure they would be able to travel in my luggage and was happy to find out they could! I flew two separate airlines for my trip and had no problem taking the lanterns. If you are like me and are skeptical about ordering, DON'T BE!! It's well worth the price, the quality is great, and you won't regret releasing them at your special event.

Celebration of Life
These lanterns were of very high quality and easy to use and light. The packaging was of high quality as to prevent damage to the item. This was the first use of this type of product, and I have to tell you, all that attended my husband's Celebration of Life, both young and old, were truly touched by the beauty of the event. One may never believe it, but a group of the lanterns flying very high in the sky made the formation of a heart. It was a true celebration that will always be remembered. I would highly recommend.

These lanterns worked perfectly! You just have to use common sense while using them. Make sure your in an open area with no trees and make sure use them on a night when there is no wind. They were so beautiful in the sky all lit up.

I goofed and forgot to order for the New Year. The estimated delivery date was between 12/29 and 1/2 so I just hoped that by some miracle I would receive by the 31st. Pleasantly surprised to receive on 12/28 since I usually add 3 days during the holidays as anticipated delivery date. I ordered lanterns last year from another company and we could not get a single one to light. These were larger and we had no issues with ignition. Thank you for exceeding my expectations!

I bought these and didn't use them for 5 years. I thought the fuel cells may have gone bad but they worked perfectly. We launched them in honor of our nephew who died in 2015 and they floated up on a beautiful star filled night. It was a cold 30 degrees outside and even so they filled in a few minutes and floated away - no duds, no problems! We released them along the shore so we had plenty of room and they floated away from the land. I would not use them in a closed space, neighborhood with houses and trees, etc. It took three people to launch - two to hold them out so they could fill and one to light (we used a BIC lighter). Great quality, beautiful colors, we wrote messages on them with a marker and had no issues with poking holes, etc.

Performed very well - so much fun!
These are so much fun! They are great for kids and adults. Ours went extremely high. They were nearly out of sight due to distance before they lights burnt out. They worked very well and I felt safe using them. I also feel great about them being biodegradable.

These thing are great. They functioned just as advertised. Some of the other brands talked of tearing. These things seem pretty darn tough. I only used 5 of them last night, but each one opened easily and worked perfectly. The grandkids loved them and enjoyed watching them float out of sight. They are bigger than I expected; about 2 ft diam and 3 ft tall. You can watch them for a long time. I will probably order more of them and a Mom that was there already has some more ordered her own.

Perfect lanterns!
I purchased these lanterns to use at my son's birthday party. I must say that the adults enjoyed the lanterns as much as the kids did. The lanterns are pretty large and require 2 people to light and release. It takes a few minutes for them to light and begin to fill with air, but once they begin to lift off, they are amazing! They went highter than I would have imagined and stayed lit until they were only tiny dots in the distance (I would say close to 10 minutes.). This was a great purchase, and I will be buying more in the future!

great PRODUCT! we have used them once at a celebration of life party. It was so moving for our family. they did just what you said they would do. up ,up up and away they went with all our love to our father. so I order them again for a dear friend and her celebration. I've ordered sky lantern from a different company in the past because they were cheaper, but when I would try to light them, they would either catch on fire or when in the air their fuel cells would fall off and land on the ground while still on fire. Not good! So now I've been buying sky lanterns from Birando for several years and have never had a problem with them. So stay away from the cheap ones because you get what you pay for!.

Much bigger than I thought
This is a well made product. The lantern is huge! It requires two people to light it safely but it is just beautiful once its floating. Be aware that if its too windy, it won't go. Try it at the beach or by a source of water first. This will be a new tradition.

Flawless Product

Our daughter in law was killed in a car accident Christmas Eve 2013. March 1st was their first wedding anniversary and we wanted a special honoring of this day. The lanterns were perfect! They flew high and beautiful. The hardest part was lighting them. It takes at least 2 people to hold the lantern and 1 to light it, but it was a little breezy, so that may have been why. Thanks for making this day special.

Fun For All
I've seen lanterns done for a lot of things and just wanted to try some myself. Quite fun with the kids - use caution around the flame, but they had a wonderful time getting them up in air and then just watching them float across the sky. I have some for New Years Eve and plan on starting a NEW tradition this year with all of the kids and grandkids!

Best Lanterns Ever
I tried several different versions of these lanterns in prep for my daughter's wedding. These, by far, were the best. Easiest for all to use, absolutely no sketchy parts for breaking down, and long lasting light. There are many out there that are half the price--they rip and have parts that will take forever to degrade. It is worth it to splurge on these. I just ordered more for New Year's.

A camping bright spot
We brought these on our camping trip this past weekend and they were amazing. After a few days of cold rain, these were definitely the highlight of our trip. They shipped VERY fast, came in great shape, were so easy to set up and use, and were a lot larger than I imagined. I had considered trying to make my own sky lanterns, but these were so affordable I will definitely purchase them again in the future.

I bought these for a birthday party and they were absolutely awesome. They were easy to light and filled up quickly. They went straight up about 1500 feet. We did them at night and my grandson thought they looked like stars. Definitely going to order more.

What a thrill
This product works quite well. I was a little leery that "Eco" part of the product (would it work as well?), but it turned out great. The thing went soaring up into the sky. These lanterns do have a decent flame once they get going, so be careful to have lots of open space
