The characteristics of introverts and extroverts in a social setting are often quite humorous. Each personality has its own unique traits, making them instantly recognizable at a party.
You know you’re an introvert:
1. When your extrovert friend forces you to go out like this.
2. You don’t understand the constant need for socializing and interacting with humans.
3. You retreat to your panic room when your roommates invite guests to come over.
4. When you receive an invite to a social event, you break out in sweat and panic sets in.
5. In the event that you find yourself at a party, you feel awkward, out of place, dazed and confused by the chaos that surrounds you.
6. You go out and realize that you’d rather be alone. In bed. With a book. And your cat. Away from humans.
7. When forced to socialize, you find a corner away from everybody else, make it your own and wait for time to pass.
An extrovert can be spotted from a mile away. Actually, you will hear them long before you see them. Their behavior is a little out there, for example:
8. They have confidence, and lots of it. They bring the party to life and they know it. They thrive on it.
9. Every day is party day. They’re always ready to show everyone how it’s done. Oh, and they’re loud about it too.
10. They’ve got the moves and won’t think twice before breaking out in dance when everybody’s watching them.
11. They don’t mind making a fool of themselves and acting like lunatics. It’s fun, it’s liberating and it delights the people.
12. Fancy, eye-catching outfit, hair, multi-layer makeup, check! The extroverts are the ones dressed to attract attention and steal the limelight.
13. When asked to act normal once in a while, they take strong offense.
